The global pandemic needs to mark a turning point for the peoples of Aotearoa New Zealand. How can we make sure that our culturally diverse nation charts an equitable and sustainable path through beyond this new world? In less affluent future, how ensure all Zealanders have fair access opportunities? One challenge is preserve sense common purpose so critical protecting each other in face Covid-19. centre what learnt about resilience within Māori wider Pacific communities reforms? public understanding Covid-19 science create platform future social valuing expertise? impact Zealand results more sustainable, inclusive workforce – instance by expanding perceptions value workers promoting digital inclusion? To meet these challenges, must reimagine existing traditions thought, breathing life into perennial concepts debates.
